Hyderabad, December 16: The project monitoring group meeting held at the secretariat today reviewed progress of a host of ongoing railway, national highway, coalmine and other infrastructure projects in Telangana.
The meeting presided over by the Chief Secretary K. Pradeep Chandra also reviewed the progress in digitalization of state level clearances. Shubha Kumar Joint Secretary Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Som Dutt Sharma, Director attended the meeting.
The Chief Secretary informed the central officials that Telangana has achieved more than 90 percent progress in digitization of state level clearances. He said that Telangana being the newest state is very progressive and wants to be a role model for the rest of the country.
Shubha Kumar said that the centre is ready to coordinate with the state government and help resolve the issues. The meeting took stock of the various inter departmental issues, action taken report on e- Pragati and state level clearances.
Issues pertaining to Hyderabad Metro Rail, Karimnagar Iron Ore Benefication Project, Coal Projects of Singareni Colleries, Munirabad-Mahbubabad new railway line, Mallavaram- Bhilwara pipeline and rehabilitation with regard to National Highways were discussed at the meeting.
