Vijayawada, December 21: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will hold a two-day conference of collectors here from today.
The conference will essentially focus on maintaining impressive economic growth as an imperative for sustained development.
Discussions will be held on the half yearly achievements, specific strategies which need to be adopted to achieve 15.28 percent growth rate and about the innovative and best practices which need to be adopted to accelerate growth.
The department heads will present the status of progress of the various projects taken up by the government. District collectors would exhibit the achievements and development that has taken place in the district along with outlaying the growth strategy for the months to come.
The CM’s keen focus would be on strategies which need to be adopted for cashless economy and on the special campaigns which are to be held for digital financial literacy.
Heads of the departments would present specific strategies for the remaining quarters to achieve desired growth rate of 15.28 percent.
Naidu would review the status of water conservation activities like Neeru-Pragati, Inter linking of rivers, irrigation projects, farm ponds and on the status of the construction of CC roads.
He would also review the urban and rural housing scheme for slum dwellers.
